HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE - LEVEL 2

The Level 2 in Health and Safety in the Workplace course is a qualification aimed at all employees. The course is designed to ensure employees are familiar with their duties and are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public.

The qualification is intended for candidates already in workplaces and those who are preparing to start or return to work.

Candidates gaining this qualification will know that health and safety is the responsibility of everyone within a business. Delegates will be able to identify hazards, assess the risks and implement control measures to reduce injury and promote a positive safety culture within the workplace.

Course Duration

The course is delivered over one day totalling 8hrs including coffee breaks.

 

Assessment and certification

​

Assessment is in the form of a multiple-choice examination. Successful candidates are awarded a certificate.
